| I remember several years ago reading about a doofus who applied Armor-all to his tires - not just the sidewalls but the tread surface as well - and then crashing the car immediately after doing so. With that in mind, nothing surprises me anymore. :-) All kidding aside, I went with OE Nissan pads after getting tired of the squeak/dust issues with the Axxis Ultimates. And I did the same thing as you mentionedd (minus the WD-40): cleaned everything thoroughly, made sure the shims were good, bedded the brakes, applied the orange anti-squeak goop, etc....and nothing worked. For street use, the OE pads are fine. I've got a set of track pads that I can put on for those rare days I can get to a track. So I'm covered for just about anything that comes up. Dave
